The Amathole Economic Development Agency (ASPIRE) Board Members, the Chief Executive Officer, The Executive Manager, and the Amathole District Municipality, visited the honey processing plant at the Ngqushwa Local Municipality.
The 5-year strategy of ASPIRE is in execution and one of the key focus areas of the strategy is Primary agriculture, agro-processing. The purpose of the plant is to help local beekeepers generate a sustainable income and support the development of the Local economy in the Amathole region.
