Amabele Village Development Plan

Aspire, registered as the Amathole Economic Development Agency, is a Pty Ltd company and is wholly owned by the Amathole District Municipality. Our vision is to be a pioneer in the stimulation of spatial economic development.

The purpose of this tender is to identify and appoint a service provider to develop a detailed Amabele Village Development Plan which will incorporate land use proposals for the village of Amabele. The appointed service provider will have to obtain all the necessary regulatory approvals required to proceed with the development of Amabele Village in line with the land use proposals, including any environmental studies prescribed by the NEMA Regulations.

The Amabele Village Development Plan must address all issues related to land use authorisations and management, in line with existing and applicable legislation and policies, in order to implement the Amabele Local Spatial Development Framework (LSDF) and the Amabele/Ndakana Zero Waste Business Cluster Pre-Feasibility study (the economic development plan for the area).
