Event Management Small Towns Conference
Every year, Aspire convenes a national Small Towns Conference. The initiative started in a seminar in March 2006 and has since been converted into a conference and held every year in September in East London. The conference has for the last four years attracted over 400 people from all over country.
The services required are:
a. Managing invitations, registration, securing the venue for the conference and associated evening event and related logistics.
b. Sourcing and packaging appropriate promotional material for the conference.
c. Aspire wishes to charge a registration fee for this year’s conference delegates. The appointed service provider will be responsible for obtaining and banking these fees, and maintaining a list of registered delegates and producing name tags for said delegates. An on the day registration facility must also be available. This fee will be payable to Aspire one week after the conference.
d. Publicity and marketing of the conference.
e. Producing the conference report at the end of the conference, including appropriate minute taking and distribution of the report to delegates;
g. Assist with gaining private sector sponsorship (if necessary)

Should Note The Following Tender Conditions:
Tenders that do not meet a functionality assessment of 70% will not be considered further or advance to the financial assessment. The Aspire supply chain management policy will apply.
Aspire does not bind itself to accept the lowest tender or any other tender and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of the tender.
Tenders which are late, incomplete, unsigned or submitted by fax or electronically, will not be accepted.
