Alice Economic Regeneration Strategy

Aspire, registered as the Amathole Economic Development Agency, is a Proprietary Limited Company established in September 2005 and is wholly owned by the Amathole District Municipality. Our vision is to be a pioneer in the stimulation of spatial economic development.

Proposals are requested from service providers to deliver the following outputs for the town of Alice in the Eastern Cape:
Phase 1 - An economic regeneration strategy for Alice.
Phase 2 - A report identifying potential business opportunities and economic interventions that will regenerate Alice’s economy.
Phase 3 – Recommendations and roadmap for the implementation of the strategy defined above.

A compulsory briefing will be held at Aspire’s offices on the 30th September 2008 at 14h30. The Terms of Reference are available by contacting Mrs N Nombanda by email or phone (043) 721 2070.
