DEVELOPMENT OF A MARKETING BROCHURE AND RELATED ITEMS FOR ASPIRE

Aspire, registered as the Amathole Economic Development Agency, is a state – owned company (SOC) and is wholly owned by the Amathole District Municipality.
It is responsible for the following:
• Promote and implement economic development within the District, in case of economic production and commercial activities as envisaged in the Amathole Regional Economic Development Strategy and the IDP;
• Leverage private and public donor funding for economic development of the District;
• Utilize funding received from the Municipality prudently, to ensure the sustainability of the Aspire and the sustainability of the local economic development programs implemented

SERVICE DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this RFQ is to procure a suitable qualified service provider to develop a comprehensive marketing brochure package that can be used by Aspire as part of its marketing and stakeholder engagement activities. The brochure should be developed and packaged such that it is able to meet the following requirements:

• Provide a detailed summary of Aspire as an organisation, as well as its projects or development interventions, such that it provides outsiders with information, and can be used to communicate with investors and other relevant stakeholders, both locally and abroad
• Ensure maximum exposure of the Aspire brand, and its values
• Showcase Aspire’s successes as a development agency, and its capacity in managing or implementing development initiatives at any level
• Incorporate a marketing component that can be disseminated at meetings or events. This should be compact and easy to carry around (e.g by management, board members and project managers), and easy to reproduce as a primary communication tool
• Incorporate a single – page advertorial, that can be used in trade and investment magazines, etc
• Incorporate a component that can be used in packaging proposals to investors, funding organisations, or departments

Tenderers Should Note The Following Tender Conditions:
It must be noted that functionality will only be used as a pre-qualification basis and the score allocated will not be carried forward to the final score. Bidders must note that an overall minimum of 70% must be scored for functionality to be classified as responsive. Bidders that score less than 70% will be seen as non-responsive and will not be considered further.
