INVITATION TO REGISTER ON SUPPLIER DATABASE
Aspire, registered as the Amathole Economic Development Agency, is a state – owned company (SOC) and is wholly owned by the Amathole District Municipality. Our vision is to be a pioneer in the stimulation of spatial economic development.
Aspire, pursuant to the provisions of the Public Finance Management Act ((PFMA), Act 1 of 1999) read with its Supply Chain Management Policy, hereby invites interested service providers to register on Aspire’s supplier database as official vendors and suppliers for the 2012 to 2013 financial year.
Please note that suppliers and service providers currently registered as vendors on Aspire’s supplier database are required to re-register in order to still be considered as official vendors and suppliers for the period.
Prospective suppliers / service providers may apply to be enlisted on the supplier database for a maximum of five (5) commodities specific as per their principle business, and failure to comply with this condition will invalidate the application, and it will not be evaluated further.
Interested parties are required to note that Aspire makes use of an automated electronic supplier database registration process, and no hardcopy forms will be available for prospective suppliers.

The completed online form should be printed and signed, and forwarded with all applicable supporting documents to reach Aspire by no later than Friday 17 August 2012, 11h00 am:-

Submissions which are late, incomplete, unsigned or submitted by fax or electronically will not be accepted.
